Disabled people, a group of people that was left behind by societies, are very pity. I take this news because of common sense. I think it's time for us to be more broad-minded and generous.
SHELL Malaysia will set about 10% of its scholarships specifically for disabled students from this year onwards. SHELL will be introducing a new category of scholarships for disabled students in Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia in 2011. The company’s human resource director Leslie Hayward said that “Our normal scholarships are also open to disabled students, but we don’t see these students applying for them,” This might encourage them to be more confident and use this chance to claim up to their dream.
In my mind, I think this is what people around the world especially Thai should think about, it's called "chance". We have to be more open-minded. The disabled people is not dregs of society. What you are is also what they are. We are the same. This news show me that they can learn as same as normal people. What they need is just a chance from us.
