Black Eyed Peas is one of the best Hip-hop bands I like. Their performance with strong attitude of musician though their powerful voice is perfect. For me, it's very nice to see them jumping around, screaming, running down from the stage or singing like crazy, they were born for entertaining. Back to the news, a reason that I pick this news to write about is because Malaysia is a Muslim country. Concert is rarely allowed, and it's news show that Black Eyed Peas is special!!
Recently, Black Eyed Peas concert, sponsored by the Guinness brewery, was allowed only none muslims in Malaysia after it was banned from Muslims. US hip-hop band performed in front of a multiracial audience. Malays are not allowed to drink alcohol while minorities such as Chinese and Indian are not restricted. One of the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, said that she was very welcome to have their third concert in Malaysia. Even though, they had to dress properly, people still love their concert. Fergie said that she was required to leave her sexy outfits behind in order to perform in Malaysia. You will see the same crazy woman, whether you see skin or not. She replied. Fergie jumped on the stage with T-shirt and jeans, no sexy shape of her body was seen, surrounded by 5,000 audiences. The concert's feedback is satisfied everybody. In the vision of Islamic, open dances are not allowed. To show woman in sexy dress is against the basic teaching of Islam. However, if people wants, sometimes it's okay.
As you know that Malaysia is a Islamic country, open dance is not allowed in the public place. However, time changes, things must change. Even though it is the way of Islamic sometimes, we should follow people's needed. Open dance is not too rude to see if it's for entertaining. Compare with Thailand, open dance is more common and traditional. We have this kind of performance almost every events even cérémonie d'ordination too. So the way we look at this is very different.
