Passing Law For Foreign Maids

Maid is one of the most popular jobs. Not only because of its flexibility that made it popular, but also for its safety. However, in Malaysia there are several nationalities living in the cities. If you need a maid to clean up your house constantly, you might get a maid that is different in nationality from you. To be safe from being a victim, Malaysia has come up with this policy. I found it very interested to follow.

The Human Resources Ministryof Malaysia has found that lots of employer in Malaysia facing problem with their maid, so they had several discussions and come up with lots of questions. Datuk Maznah Mazlan, a deputy human resources minister said that most politicians try to help foreign maids to work in a safe place while employers are facing with these problems too. She said that more than 2,100 maids has this problem now. She also added that Malaysia and Indonesia government have agreed to sign their contract about foreign maid working in Malaysia. Maznah said the discussion was included with accident insurance, standard working contract, and etc.

Malaysia has faced the same problem with Thailand about foreign workers working aboard. Lots of people from Laos and Myanmar emigrate to find jobs in Thailand. The number of population living in the big city is raising rapidly. Living standard is lower than in the past.
